GRADUATE CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS

DSU has one graduate certificate program in the process of being approved.

College of Education STEM Teaching

Designed specifically for practicing K-8 teachers, the STEM Teaching Certificate Program consists of six courses (18 credits) taught one per Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters across two years. Those who successfully complete the six courses are awarded a STEM Teaching Certificate from DSU and also qualify for an Elementary STEM Endorsement from the Utah State Office of Education. This is a cohort program with the next cohort starting Fall 2018. A minimum of 12 students are required to form a cohort. Contact the Office of Graduate Studies for more information.

*For teachers who currently hold a math endorsement, EDUC 5010 is waived providing the credit is less than five years old.
